5 Boutique Design Hotels We're Dying to Stay At

5 Boutique Design Hotels We're Dying to Stay At
Picking out a hotel is a task we don't take lightly. There are so many incredibly beautiful and well designed places that we are dying to see in person. In this series "GET A ROOM" we're hoping to share some of our favourites and take all you design lovers behind the scenes at some of our stays. Today we're sharing 5 hotels on our hit list from Detroit to Brisbane. We'd LOVE to hear about your favourite hotels and air bnbs. Drop us a line below!

Grands Boulevards Hotel, Paris

"Inspired by building’s history without falling into the cliché Louis XVI style, the interior seduces the senses bridging the gap between romanticism & aristocracy with a gentle nod to the mischievous."- The Grand Boulevard

We were pretty mesmerized by these canopy beds the first time we saw them. We love the mixture of both old and new worlds found in this hotel. Hotel des Grands Boulevards is a sumptuous space featuring 50 bedrooms, a restaurant and a rooftop terrace designed by Dorothée Meilichzon.

Firehouse Hotel, LA

710 S. Santa Fe Avenue, Los Angeles, 90021

"Firehouse Hotel is an independent boutique hotel & restaurant within an original 1927 fire station in LA’s Arts District."

There's so much to love about this hotel. The tone on tone trim work peppered throughout the hotel, the blockshop textiles in the bedrooms, the built-in headboard situations. It's all GOOD. There's 9 uniquely designed suites in the hotel and we'd be pretty smitten to stay in any one of them.

The Calile Hotel, Brisbane

"Great hotels have stories that go beyond providing a bed for the night – they offer moments of discovery, unexpected adventures, encounters to be savoured and retold."

The Calile is a boutique hotel in Australia that looks simple divine. We were most drawn in by their lux looking pool with the cluster of striped beach umbrellas, and then we found out they were behind this amazing pink washroom. Uhhh, yeah, sign us up to live here forever.

The Siren Hotel, Detroit

The Siren Hotel in detriot is art deco dreams come true. Their Candy bar features a giant white lacquer palm tree paried with velvety scalloped booths (uhh and a giant disco ball). Their rooms feature the most stunning colourful terazzo sinks and there's fringe around every corner. Who wants to go?

The Madonna Inn

"Madonna Inn welcomes guests with its 110 whimsical guestrooms, each with their own unique charm and decor. Whether you are planning a romantic getaway or family retreat, our resort amenities and personalized service make Madonna Inn the premier Central Coast destination."

Ok ok ok ok ok. The Madonna inn MIGHT not be everybody's cup of tea- but it's definitely ours. We'll take a big old cuppa Madonna Inn plz. This hotel is on our "We'll die if we don't stay here" list, which is a pretty serious list to be on haha.

When we think about the Madonna Inn, we think about pink basketball courts, wall to wall carpet, lush pink velvet banquettes, heart shaped doors. It's a bit gaudy and over the top, but in the best way possible. A few years back Jesse and Jimmy marble held their wedding at the Madonna Inn. Jesse wore an incredible gucci dress and the floral arrangements were all marigolds. Uh, yeah... dreamy #couplegoals.
